Media.Art.Research. / Art University Linz

From 2008-2009 I directed the visualization departement of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Media.Art.Research., dedicated to an interdisciplinary approach for media art research.

In a small team, we created tools and analyzed datasets from the ars electronica archive and other archives on digital media art. I focused on the development of semaspace, and worked on a network analysis of the ars electronica jury networks. You can find a website with some of our work here.

The position also included a professorship at the Art University Linz, in the course of which I was teaching courses on visualization and urban media in the interface culture program.
